Today I planned out my list of recipes to try from Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld and I am super excited!! Not only is it going to fit in with my usual grocery list budget but it’s making twice the amount of meals that I was getting out of my usual buys! Curious about what I am going to try?
I broke it down into three separate sections. Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner, and Dessert, which could end up being two sections.. I’ll explain at the end!
Breakfast: French Toast & Banana Bread
Lunch & Dinner: Meatball Soup, Pita Pizzas, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Spaghetti, Potato Soup, & Lasagna
Along with our usual options
Breakfast: Blueberry Muffins, Oatmeal, Yogurt, Toaster Strudels, Pop-tarts, Cereal, Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, and Biscuits
Lunch & Dinner: Salads, Egg Salad, Cheese Ravioli’s, Chicken Nuggets, Bagel Bites, Pizza Pockets, Chicken Cordon Blue, Chicken Parmesan, Taco Soup, Quesadillas, Tacos, Hamburger Helper, Easy Chicken, Cheesy Potatoes, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Cacciatore, Taquitoes, Hot Dogs, Meatballs (Subs), Teriyaki Chicken Rice & Corn, PB&J’s, Deli sandwiches, Grilled Cheese, Shiskabobs, Steaks & Baked Potatoes
Dessert: Candy candy candy candy! 🙂
So this might last me four weeks instead of two weeks and I’ll be happy with whatever I can get!! If I do stock up enough for four weeks I could really use the second grocery run money for some nice vacation time 😉
Tomorrow I’ll be grocery shopping and preparing food all day 🙂 So each day this coming week I am going to try out one or more of the recipies and do a review with pictures included! I’ll even let you know what B says since he’s the picky eater 😉
