Who’s ready for Halloween magazines? I AM! This week I’m reviewing Woman’s Day Specials Halloween Celebrations!! This is your all around get ready for the season kind of magazines that includes, crafts, home decor, food, and some extra goodies as well. I can’t imagine you flipping through this magazine and not wanting to attempt something in this magazine – even if you hate Halloween – some of these things are worth a look!
Each page is filled with multiple ideas and and things you can try to create on your own but you can also purchase! One of my favorite things about this magazine is it tells you where they found the item, how much it is, and the website for it! Another plus – they showcase Etsy shops 🙂 I love supporting fellow etsians.
Their how-to’s are easy to read and follow and they also have extra instructions and patterns in the back! I’d say this magazine is filled with enough goodies to keep you busy up until Halloween this year 🙂 I already have a list of things I’d love to try as well as a few shops I’ll be buying from. Since this magazine isn’t completely about crafting I deducted a point for ideas & inspirations since part of it is food and that might not interest some as well as a point off for exciting pictures and fun reads because there’s less articles and more shopping.
Halloween Celebrations comes . Each magazine is $5.99 which is a fantastic deal to me. The deal for a subscription is $14.99 for two years or 1 year for $7.99. There are $10 issues a year. You can’t ask for a better deal than that!!!!
- 4 points for ideas & inspiration
- 5 points for easy how to and guide steps
- 4 points for exciting pictures & fun reads
- 5 points for the amount of issues
- 5 points for price (5.99 for one issue)
I give this magazine 4.5 out 5 stars which I think is my highest one yet!
Thanks for stopping by!
Love Always,
J

Not fan of holidays crafting but this mag seems interesting…
This one has a bunch of interesting pieces that could be used for other decorations. Like they have this decorative small tree that you’d put on a shelf or on a table that you can hang decorations from. You could keep the base and pretty much decorate however you want! Hang little pictures from it, ornaments, hearts for valentines day and so on. I thought it was a cute idea!
The candy corn stuff alone looks like reason enough to pick up the magazine. Thanks for the review!
That definitely grabbed my eye!!
