To estimate (something) as being less than the actual size, quantity, or number or to think of (someone or something) as being lower in ability, influence, or value than that person or thing actually is.
I am a happily married mother of a four year old baby girl with another one on the way! I guess you could say I am underestimated because I am 4’11. It seems like everywhere I go people think I am a lot younger then I really am and treat me like I am less than or lower in ability to do things like provide for my family. It’s heart wrenching to be devalued and I wanted to make this blog to uplift those who either underestimate themselves or are underestimated by others, as well as remind those who may be underestimating others and not even realize it!
A little bit about me? I love to craft and I hope to someday make a living off of it. I like to cook and clean on most days 😉 but more importantly I like to spend time with my family. Watching Emma grow up has been the most amazing experience I have ever had and there are plenty of more years to come! I like trying new things, which makes cooking and crafting interesting sometimes haha. I also love to read, but rarely have the time for it so lately I’ve been listening to audiobooks which you’ll see me review here.
My husband is the most amazing guy I have ever met, he is an avid video gamer and an amazing writer. It’s funny how alike we are, his creative side is video games and writing, mine is crafts. He is a homebody and I hate going outside when it’s cold!! So we make a good pair in the winter then in the summer I drag him out of the house 😉 He worked as a cook at a restaurant for a few years so he really is the better cook in the family but he puts up with my attempts to cooking and is always there to help me clean. We make a perfect team and I feel so lucky to have him in my life.
Emma is an even mix of my husband and I. She has his great memory and ease of learning new things, my creative side and both of our stubborness which I know will give her the strength she needs to take care of herself when she gets older.
We are seriously excited for a soon to be arrive in August that we’ve named Payton! I’m curious what her personality will be like and cannot wait to hold her in my arms!
Well that’s enough about me! Hope you enjoy my blog, leave me comments, questions, opinons, and life stories! I’d love to hear it all 🙂
